Borsec, or "Borsecthe", has high mineral content, including natural carbonation. Its composition is slightly acidic. Borsec is located in the Eastern Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania. It has a rich history, having been bottled for over 200 years, and long before that it was being carted in wooden casks to serve the Royal Court in Vienna. Emperor Franz Josef dubbed it "Queen of Mineral Waters." |
