Emperor's Golden Hojicha
Japanese sencha green tea, roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal. This produces something smoky, Earthy, and less astringent than sencha. Caffeine and tannins are reduced.
Keep the dose light (say 3g per 8oz water), and steep at 212°F for just 30-60 seconds. Let it cool after steeping, for flavor and so you don't scorch your insides.
