Fellow Stagg EKG Kettle

A beautiful and exceptionally functional piece of equipment at a fair price.  You are likely to actually look forward to using this every morning.  You might catch yourself standing there watching water boil, because the PID controlled temperature and LED feedback is satisfyingly smooth and responsive to the degree. It feels like this thing boils faster than other kettles, but I think it's just because the experience is a little more enjoyable.

It has none of the features you don't need, and the features that it does have are integrated cleanly and quietly.  On the front of the unit is 1 round LED display and 1 round button that doubles as power and temp set.  The temperature is adjustable to every degree, unlike some devices that jump numbers such that you can't set exactly what you want.  On the back of the unit is a temp hold switch (with 60 minute timeout) and a °F/°C switch.

This unit and Fellow's Clara French press both have very satisfying handle ergonomics.  Grip it and put your thumb up on the top...nice one.

The only negative point we've found is that the power button can be a little finicky.  If you don't press it hard enough, or if you hold it too long, it doesn't respond.  Just get used to giving it a quick, strong poke and it will behave.
